well...if you have a ridill i was wondering how good it is vs. a lot of hnms. Do you use it most of the time or your scythe/GSD? Basically how good is ridill for drks?

Your 1hnd sword cap is still to low to hit very much, its good vs weaker stuff i guess but things with high evasion that you have a hard time hitting with a scythe forget it. It would be kind of fun to use vs adaman-roc-behemoth-sim etc though. Nothing makes drk great at HNM just do yourself a favor and get rng to 75. The best thing you can do is be stun whore or light renkei starter bitch.

Ridill is a weapon you use to have fun with or get TP faster on links with for faster/higher Spirits Within.

yea, i'm in a hnm ls, we've killed fafnir and got ridills but i'm not allowed to lot lol, right now only rangers and thfs can lot.

My argument is that if a thf can get why cant a drk

and it is possible to Triple Attack each individual swing.

double and tripple attack dont activate with ridill-kraken joy etc.

Ridill should go to a SAM if they're spamming Spirits Within of course. If you're trying to gain TP off of weaker mobs while you meditate at the same time, you could probably get off a lot more weaponskills.

cuz thf can use it alot mroe then a drk can...still pretty stupid rule...

yea...well i've seen some drks in other linkshells fight fafnir using ridills, and when they use souleater with it there doing like 100+ each it'....i guess ridill is ok for any job that can use it, drks just arn't the best ; ;

drk has one of the higher sword skills, not to mention vorpal blade is fun. i want a ridill
using anything other than scythe or gs on hmn is not very cool ><

I use Ridill for fafnir/nidhogg fights :D

Acc really isn't that bad.. and you hit for 100-180 each hit with souleater on. If you have whm sub leveled you can keep yourself alive easily.


In my LS it goes to seniors first -> then decided by class WAR and DRK get them first -> then thieves -> then the rest. (We've got 3 total now.)

But don't you get alot of hate if you're hitting multiple times for 100+ (since it attacks consecutively often)? Wouldn't that mess positioning, etc. for important fights like Fafnir.

If they fight him like we do, it isn't a problem. Everyone stands on top of one another, or at least on one of his feet. If you get aggro he won't move, just switch his target. And yes you can die, but if your tanks are good they will usually have aggro back before you go down. Then you just relog and you're good to go again.

After almost 2 weeks of camping faf and well not getting the claim, I'm happy we claimed Nid with only 13 people (killed with more of course) and I became proud owner of this:




Adaman Hauberk =

2nd Tarutaru on Midgard (Stephen being first -_-) with it, and only Taru Drk with one XD.

Getting it made is a tad less stressful; just dont want to break synth ><;
